It took a couple of months for my body and my mood to regulate itself. On the flip side, my mood and sex-drive has significantly improved!!! The thing that's bothering me right now is my long cycles. So far 36, 46, and 46 days. First week off, acne! But after that flare up, my skin went crystal clear, and stayed thus until I got back on BC. My mood goes back to ultra-chipper with an only-kinda-chipper lull just before AF (off BC, I have the emotional range of a teaspoon. On BC, I'm seemingly bipolar.) Headaches and stomachaches decrease off of BC. I notice it more post AF, early fertile window. My skin's been okay since coming off of BC. It was great on it, never really had acne problems in 10 years. I notice it more pre and post ovulation. It's nowhere near as bad as it was when I was high school. They lasted for about two weeks. After that, they subsided and I got my period on a 27 day cycle. It's remained pretty consistent with a day or two difference here or there with stress or relaxation. I remember those first two weeks being pretty awful. It's been six months off of birth control and I couldn't be happier. A few weeks after going off, I got insanely sore nipples that lasted for a few weeks. I had been on the pill for like 13 years...</p> <p>My cycles going off the pill were like 35 days, 30 days, then would have been on track for a 40 day cycle but got pregnant (but miscarried). Nervous, excited, scared! 6 months ago, my "AF" disappeared due to my BC (my MD said that was OK, common side effect with the prescrip I was on.) This morning I was experiencing painful, sore breasts. So sore that I couldn't fall back asleep after the cat woke me up. And on the train, I had to "hug" myself and sort of press on them they were so sore. Did anyone else experience this? ? I should have gone off BC sooner, if just a few days off of the hormones is making me feel so out of wack! And if your cycle disappeared, did it go back to normal? </p>
