I never had spotting on synthroid. I took the progesterone after my BFP so no experience there.
Sounds like your cycles/hormones might be regulating though!

@pui: i will check it out, thanks for letting me know about, wow and here i am complaining about 5 months! lol sometimes it is best to have other tests done as well, i know its hard to go through all this but once u figure it all out, it will be worth it, i really hope it is just hypo for you and nothing else!, maybe the meds are just taking longer or u just need different or high doses. its hard to tell, the waiting is the hardest i hate it as well, just remember you are not alone!

@BrentLee88: You should join us in the 6 Months Plus TTC thread! The ladies there are all very supportive.

And seriously it's like I'm reading my own thoughts in your posts. I feel so much the exact same way.

My doctor didn't really give me any information... just told me to get checked again in 6 weeks. I'm not convinced that hypothyroidism is my only problem, but currently I have no other leads... I am on CD113 and I am starting to get very, very worried.

@pui: I feel that way everyday is very exhausting! i hate it, i not much of a waiting person as well, we been trying since February this year i know it hasn't been long but when u want something so bad it seems long enough, not only that but the thyroid problems putting things of way longer. my doctor told me it could be up until next year depending how my body even works with these meds, so i guess we will see, how long for you?

@BrentLee88: So true... I feel like this is all a big mess that is going to take forever to straighten out. I'm so sick of waiting!

How long have you been TTC?

@pui: i agree with you there!, we will get there just takes time i guess! at least we are not alone! which makes me feel good i am not the only one going through all this as well, so we will get there together, wish u the best of luck with your cycle! and ttc, that's the hardest part is going through all this and still wondering and having that feeling of will i ever be able to have a child with all this illness, but god is good and i believe he has a plan for us all, just taking some longer then others, its a rough thing to go through that's for sure.

Are you supposed to take the progesterone continuously throughout your cycle or only in the 2ww?

I have been on 100mcg Synthroid for 6 weeks and have experienced the opposite of spotting lol. I still haven't had a period!

It could be that your hormones are still not in balance yet... I say wait another 3 weeks and get another blood test to check all your levels.

I recently Started taking sytharoid 25 mg and progesterone 100 mg for hormone replacement about 3 weeks ago, i just had a period july 1st-july 5th and now last night i started spotting again and then again this morning, is this normal while on these medications? or could it be my vitamin D deficiency as well?, i was just wondering, i know the meds take a while to kick in but wanted to know if it was a normal sign or if my body is just getting used to all these meds? I know i am still tired a lot from my hypothyroid i will go to lay down at night though and not get to sleep until about 2 hours later just laying there, so i am more tired during the day which isn't fun, just really hope i don't have to switch threw all different kinda of meds.
