@bluestriped bee: No, but I don't store videos except what I take on the camera. I have over a hundred apps (mostly kids- maybe even close 200 apps) on there and am not running out of space.

@bluestriped bee: mine still has some room but we basically have no videos on it. Our main storage driver is photos and music.

@bluestriped bee: we have the 64 gig ipad and I'm glad we went for it... especially when traveling, we can download LOs fave movies & shows from Amazon right onto the ipad and don't have to deal with needing WiFi!

I have a 16gb Samsung Tab S. I really thought that 16gb would be MORE than enough cause I barely use it and really don't have that many apps, but I shockingly ran out of space a few weeks ago!! Turns out that a lot of apps cache A LOT of crap. I think I had 5gb of cached stuff that I cleared out. I got a SD card for it to move apps over, but that barely did anything. I def wish I got the 32gb instead.

@808love: @Pumuckl: Do you ever wish you had 64 gb?

Costco sells Ipads and it's about $50 off retail. They don't have the 64 gb in stock but they have 32 gb.

Right now, it's occasional shows that I would download for trips without wifi, but I'm wondering if I'll want more space when the kids are older. This would be mainly for when we don't have internet.

Or maybe I should look to see how big movie or tv show files would be. Though, maybe the kids will have their own kid friendly tablet when they get older and my ipad will always be just for me.

iPad Air 32GB Wifi. We use it to import photos from our DSLR and the storespace is just right.

32gb and it can hold a ton! I can't live with 8gb and 16gb can only last so long (my old phone) so I think 32 gb is plenty.

I love our Kindle Fires, so much cheaper and I can do a lot more with them! My husband and I unintentionally bought each other Kindles for Christmas since our ancient Kindle had just died. Expanding the memory with an 16 GB SD card is super easy, I store my music on the SD card and haven't run out of storage space with apps that want to be on the internal drive.

I far prefer it to the 16 GB iPad mini since I can't do anything to expand the memory on that one. I'm really growing a hateful relationship with Apple products lately. I frequently have issues getting on WiFi with the iPad to work well when out of the house, the damn thing just frustrates me constantly.

I prefer the Android system, so we rooted the Kindle to make it work just like an Android tablet (Google rootjunky) and I have a few great apps that play my iTunes collection, so I really have no need to use only an iPad anymore.

We have old iPad minis for the kids. Wifi and 16gb each.
We recently bought a 12" iPad Pro, 128gb, wifi only. It's more than enough storage since we use it to browse the Internet and watch vids on your tube (for now).

I don't need storage for my ipad... I have probably the lowest amount with wifi (also would use mobile hotspot if needed). It's my phone that I wish I have the highest storage!

I have an ipad mini 1 16 GB wifi only. Which I actually liked a lot. I had it for a long time but recently it started being kind of slow after the software update a few months ago. It was annoying that I had to constantly delete apps to make room for other apps but it was pretty manageable. I never used it to take or store pictures.

Because of the slow down I wanted to get another tablet. I stuck with the ipad mini again this time I got a 4 with 128 GB wifi only. I love it! I never have to delete apps. I have a lot apps, also a lot of game apps that are fairly large and I still have over half of the memory free. I also don’t use this to take or store pictures. If I was in a bind and I happened to be holding this ipad while the LOs were doing something super cute, I have used it a few times to take the picture or video which I would back up somewhere else.

Recently though, I learned about amazon underground because LO liked this cut the rope games but I’m terrible at those games and with amazon underground you unlock this dumb fairy thing that solve all the puzzles unlimitedly where on the apple store it’s like 50 bucks for EACH game. I’m terrible at cut the rope and it was very flustering but LO saw a friend play this game and wanted it but also wanted me or DH to beat the hard levels. Anyways I got the 50 dollars fire tablet for this reason. Dumb I know! But I did the math and we would save some money this way.

The Fire only comes with 8 GB and so I think I paid another 30 dollars for 64 GB mirco SD card (I think you can get a 128 GB but I think that was 50 dollars – as much as the tablet?! But I didn’t think I needed *that* much). Anyways I like it a lot! It has totally saved me money on the games LO likes to play because of the underground stuff. Also I found out that I get to “borrow” a kindle book for free with it so that as a pleasant surprise. It looks like I wasn’t taking advantage of my amazon prime. Haha.

Edit - the one thing I don't like about the fire... is that you can't store everything on the SD card. For some reason some games will only settle on the internal memory and you can't move it to the SD card... probably the developers thought that it would run best off the internal memory. So I have ran into some cases where I needed to manage the internal memory recently.

How many GB is your tablet and do you just use wifi or do you use cellular data?

Oh, what kind of tablet do you have?

I have an ipad mini and it's 16 gb. I got the wifi version. I figure I can turn on my mobile hotspot on my phone if I need wifi on my tablet.

I really hate that I got only 16 gb. I think I'm going to sell it and get one with more storage.
