Then Sunday morning it looked worse :bummed: </p> <p>Took her to the clinic and they said it was infected and gave her amoxicillin - didn't look much better this morning though either - ugh! I would do as others have suggested...wash with soap, warm soak a couple times a day &amp; ointment. Tell her to stop picking her hangnails! I get this quite often and that is the cause of it. If only today then I would try home treatment but wouldn't leave it much longer than two days. My finger was infected like that from picking at a cuticle and they lifted around the cuticle with a razor blade to get rid of some pus and gave me antibiotics.
