They said it will be on a case-by-case basis. So I am not satisfied with that but I will continue to urge them to make an official change. Also I plan to tell all the pregnant mamas and new mamas to lobby for their own cases because it's not all set in stone!</p> <p>BTW the irony in all this is that we are in a workplace wellness campaign.</p> <p>Thanks to ALL of your guys for your support. I reluctantly was the trailblazer at my workplace for accommodating pumping and whilst I was scared of causing a fuss and also a bit peeved at having to draw attention to myself etc, it really worked out for the best. And i felt good about speaking up. I have always sort of flown under the radar and pumped till age one for my son and will be at age one for my daughter in October. Recently my employer has been getting stricter about enforcing the "law" and it really concerns me. I just sent a long email to the big boss and the hr boss stating the basics on the benefits and recommendations on breastfeeding and asked them to reconsider the policy. I feel like I just took a big risk but I feel so strongly about this. Worst case scenario I am banned from pumping.... Best, they change the policy. Just wanted to share that with you Bees and hope for your prayers and well wishes!!! </p>
