Even when I was so sick I cold barely get out of bed I still had one baby with me. My husband took the there boys but I had the baby. I haven't figured out how to call in sick from being a parent. The kids just don't seem to understand. After I wean my daughter my in laws said they would watch the kids for a weekend and we are going to go wine tasting in Northern Cali. It will be my first day without kids in two years!!! After trying and failing to work, I went to bed and watched some TV that's been recorded on the DVR.</p> <p>Wow, I remember when I used to do this all the time! I told Bee that sick days are the new weekend... it's the only time that one of us can actually lie in bed and rest. On most days, we're just running around with the kids all day. We both laughed, and then we cried a little bit inside haha.</p> <p>Do you spend much time in bed and/or relaxing these days? Or is your only day off when you are physically sick and unable to work? </p>
