Lots of big dealers also usually have a tot room where you can let them play.</p> <p>I actually have friends who bring their kids to the dealership on purpose because they run amock during marathon negotiating sessions and they think it frazzles the salesman. When we did it, I test drove the car myself but that was our choice, to not install the car seat. The salesman was a dad and of course wanted to make a sale so he gave our son a new car toy, water, snacks, etc to help keep him happy. When we got my car though, dh and I test drove separately and left lo with the other one. And moved the car seat into the car to test drive it to ensure the car seat would fit well. They had absolutely no issue with it! Do dealers frown upon this?</p> <p>We really want to go check out a used car we found for a good deal at a dealer, but we have no one to watch our almost 3yo... We have a click-tight seat so the car seat installation isn't a concern. </p>
