Your antibodies are going to baby more than to you much like they did when you were pregnant. Practice good hygiene. If you have medication prescribed by your doctor, make sure to tell him/her you are breastfeeding so they can prescribe something compatible so you don't have to supplment and/or pump and dump. If you are nursing, keep nursing! Thats the best thing you can do. Make sure you are really hydrated too. I had one last yr and it feels the same as it did then. I have an 8 week old to take care of. I plan on heading to the Dr tomorrow. Until then, is there anything I can do to avoid him from also getting sick? It feels viral if it makes a difference. </p>
