But I will say our next door neighbor just tried to schedule a vasectomy and the urologist requires a 30 day waiting period just to be sure you aren't making an impulse decision. He agreed to get a vasectomy but I think he is a little nervous about the procedure, not about not being able to have kids. </p> <p>If you have taken that step of permanent birth control, was it an easy and fast step or did it take some time to work up to it and make that final concrete decision? </p>
