<description>&#60;p&#62;We aren't quite ready to pull the trigger yet (our youngest is 5 months and I'm still working through all the 'what if' scenarios).  But I will say our next door neighbor just tried to schedule a vasectomy and the urologist requires a 30 day waiting period just to be sure you aren't making an impulse decision. So if you think you're ready, no harm in your husband going ahead and making an initial visit since there will be a lag before anything actually happens.

<description>&#60;p&#62;DH and I are 1000% done having kids, but are just trying to figure out how to take that next step of making it permanent. He agreed to get a vasectomy but I think he is a little nervous about the procedure, not about not being able to have kids. &#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;If you have taken that step of permanent birth control, was it an easy and fast step or did it take some time to work up to it and make that final concrete decision?
