If you listen to podcasts, I really like Alton Brown's podcast, and the Nerdist podcasts (when they interview interesting ppl)

@lemondrop: Oh I forgot about Wait, Wait and Car Talk--I love CT, even though to be honest I have little interest in cars, lol. And I agree about Diane Rehm. I listen to her if we happen to be in the car when she's on but she's...well, anyway she usually comes on when Dan Patrick (who does a sports show) is on, so we usually flip to him.

Btw, not really into sports either but I love Dan Patrick. Like regular guys ribbing each other and talking about sports, and not in the "OMGWEMUSTYELLALLOFTHETIME!!!" like stations like ESPN tend to do.

Anything NPR except Diane Rehm. I don't want to be a hater, but I just can't listen to her.

I listen to a lot of podcasts (Wait, Wait, Car Talk, anything Ira Glass, Science Friday is a favorite) from the weekends since we are usually all over the place.

NPR is always tuned for us... But you probably don't get a local NPR show of our that is so great. It's called Radio West and you can podcast or stream it. Doug fabrizio is a great interviewer and has lots of interesting guests.

As an expat, I am contractually obliged to miss BBC Radio 4 (and am very glad that it streams online) but in fact, it's the BBC's entire radio output that is simply brilliant. The sheer breadth of available programming is incredible: http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio/#categories

What is your favorite talk radio shows? (Even better if I can get it on I heart radio!) I listen to Elvis Duran but just looking for other good things I can listen to when the SAHM days start to drag.
