This morning, we had whining over cupcakes outside that don't exist. He woke up talking about cupcakes outside. I texted my husband asking about it. He didn't have a clue. I feel like the worst parent these days because all he does is whine and push, push, push boundaries. Luckily once he turned 4, life has been much better for all of us. It's like he flipped a switch, and he is pleasant for the most part. He was learning to talk and figure out preschool, etc. I remember his first day of preschool he was snuggled in the teacher's arms sucking his thumb when I picked him up.<br /> Now he's jumping off chairs and throwing toys....<br /> Maybe it's the confidence that comes with that huge learning year? And, 'how far can I push it?'<br /> J comes up with some things that make me shake my head. The other night he piled all his stuffed animals in front of the bathroom door while DH was showering. I asked him what he was doing and he said, "Daddy's going to see this and he's going to FREAK OUT!"
