I think my husband would prefer one that is part of a swing set but I was hoping for a standalone one. We live in a large city and we have a small yard so space is tight. I'd like to get one of the ones made by the Little Cottage Co. However, this one comes unpainted, with no roof shingles, etc. so even with a kit, it would still be a big undertaking. Stairs to get up and a slide to get down. It's a hit with everyone so far! I liked the house part because I think that's what will grow with them the most. Her youngest who is 7 still plays with it. It also gets a lot of use from the family and friends. I'm so glad that we got one with the "house" component as that, and the imaginative play that goes along with it, is definitely their favorite part. Our yard is not huge but will definitely fit something, but no trees for a treehouse. My hope is something they will use for a while. Alternatively we can build something but I’m finding Pinterest overwhelming! </p>
