Wish I could help! But tandem nursing for us didn't start until a few weeks in... My toddler decided he wanted back in the game hahaha. I guess some advice is it's ok to tell the toddler the baby needs the milk so she should lay off a bit. It can be a little overwhelming having them both after you all he time. But it's great for supply and it's also like a secret weapon to keep them both entertained at once!

I'm hoping to find a little bit of support on what to expect in the first few days or weeks of tandem nursing. I don't know many people in real life who have nursed a newborn and a toddler at once, so I'm turning to the wealth of knowledge that is HelloBee!

My daughter is 21 months, still nursing 2-3 times/day, and I'm due with our second in 2 weeks. I'm planning on tandem nursing but holding expectations rather loosely. I'll attempt to wean my toddler if I start to feel overwhelmed.

So, what do you wish you would have known? What's the best advice you can give me? Did your milk change as an indication of labor at all? What books/resources/blogs were the most helpful to you? (I took a look at KellyMom and wasn't super impressed) Anything else I should know about?

Thanks in advance ladies!
