We have the city mini gt. pros: easy to push, especially outdoors, front view for both kids (I think that once the baby is a few months old that's important). Cons: not fitting well in stores, between parked cars etc.

@sorrycharlie: I'm loving the instep safari side by side we talked about a week or so ago. I had to call the company about a tire and they fixed the issue quickly. It was $160ish on Walmart.com.

My cousin has a tandem city mini and man that thing is heavy with two toddlers. We borrowed it so my sister's DS and my DD could sit together and we wouldnt have to push two strollers but pushing it up hill and making turns was not fun.

I have the B-Ready (use as a tandem, personal use stroller) and the Joovy Caboose (side by side we use for a nanny share). I  my B-Ready for a million reasons, but it is absolutely easier to manuever than the side-by-side in the city (narrow side walks, can't take up the whole side walk, etc.).

*BUT* which way to go really depends on how you are going to use it, I think. If I had twins, I would go with a side-by-side because I wouldn't want to put two toddlers in a tandem. But for a toddler + a baby, I think the tandem works better. There were a lot of reasons we chose the B-Ready over the City Select or the UBV, but the main one was the B-Ready allows you to put the infant in the bottom position in a bucket seat, facing you. That allows the toddler to stay in the normal seat, facing out. That seemed like the most practical configuration for toddler + baby to me...

I have the tandem contours options. It's very big/heavy, is a pain to get up curbs and doesn't roll when closed. I love that we can take it to the market ect without blocking a whole aisle, the seating options are awesome, the basket can't be beat and the price point is pretty great especially because it comes with both seats and the universal bucket seat adaptor.

I wish I could also get a double b-agile but DH says no more strollers :p

We have the Britax B Agile Double. I  it! It was just over $300 off Amazon. I found it much more expensive elsewhere. It's a side by side and for my LOs, it works great. I think that they'd fight if one was in front of the other. It's built to fit through all exterior doors and very easy to maneuver. One thing I hated about our double Snap N Go was how long it was. Felt like I was driving a bus and much harder to maneuver.

City Mini GT. I love it because it is so smooth and easy to push. Con: Hand brake, no drink holder and it is obviously wide. :P

We didn't buy a double until LO 2 was 5 weeks old. We test drove the City Select and I didn't like because I had a hard time pushing it around.in tandem mode.

We haven't used this yet, but we will have the tandem B-Ready. We will see how it goes. I like that we will probably mostly use the B-Ready as a single with the little baby, but can very easily attach the seat for DD if its a longer trip or somewhere she wants to ride too.

I love my side by side! It's really narrow... but it was $600. I have the Mountain Buggy Duet. I hated driving the double Snap n' Go. It's so long!

@QBbride: I like that one too! we have a city mini single right now, but the carseat adapter for the city mini double sucks. so I'm kind of between britax b-agile double and contours options/optima.

I don't have one, but I did push one at the zoo last summer and the tandem stroller was a pain in the rear. I much prefer side-by-side.
