Most things at target have been true-to-size for me but I've never tried on any formal dresses. I really like the 2nd one and I think it would be more flattering and comfortable than a strapless (even with a bolero and sewn on straps) with post-baby boobs.

@Thehistoryofus: We don't have Target here :(

@scg00387: @Cherrybee: @blackbird: I think I'm gonna do that, but I wanted to narrow it down to at least 2 dresses because I have to order 3 different sizes each!

^ Order a few dresses, then just return them. It's not worth the stress to hope that a dress fits when it may not!

Would it be possible to order like 6 dresses and just return to store what you don't need? Also, have you been to Target and looked on their clearance rack? I think when people return these to store, they are put on clearance. I often see them there.

It's really hard to say without seeing you - and seeing you in the dresses at that!! If I were you, I'd order all three and send back what you don't like!

I'd order two sizes in each dress and return what you don't like! I voted dress two. My bridesmaids dresses were from target and they looked fab :) don't forget to order thru ebates for cash back :)

The empire waist and fabric in 2 and 3 will make them more forgiving size-wise. I like 2 because it allows you to wear a nice supportive bra that will hold the girls in!

eta: it's hard to go by those online reviews! Not all 36c's are built the same, so what didn't work for her could totally work for you.. I would just go one size up to give yourself a little cushion.

I haven't worn Target dresses but I'd order it a little large so thar it can be altered down if need be. That review would make me nervous too! As far as flattering im leaning toward dress B but I really like C too!

I'm now going crazy about the dress I'm going to wear for my friend's wedding. I've read that they fit SMALL! Like, really, really small. According to one of the reviewers she fits an 8 but ordered a 10 just to be sure - it didn't fit. She claims she would have needed 2 sizes up to zip it fully, she's a 36C!

That would mean:
36 C = 14
38 C = 18 W
. . .

That's not close to what their sizing chart says! They only sell these dresses online, so I can't actually try them on and I won't have that much time to order a new one if the first one doesn't fit because I'll be flying in not that long before the wedding.

Has anyone bought any of these dresses? How many sizes did you have to order up? My breasts are measuring ridiculous right now :( and the according to that girl's review I'd have to order a ginormous dress. I'm also thinking about changing the dress to what's more forgiving to wear. I may wear a borelo on top, so imagine little straps to hold up the strapless dresses.

So I guess this is a 2 part post:
1) If you wore a Target dress, how do they fit? How many sizes did you buy up?
2) Please vote on what dress is more forgiving, not just size-wise but one that's more flattering of post-baby chunks.

THANK YOU!!!
