I've returned a lot to Target and have had no issues. Maybe b/c it's always within the 90 days? There were a few times I didn't have a receipt and they looked it up thru my cc and one time I didn't and they just gave me store credit. Of course they did the drivers license thing. The store employees were great, but they had to get a corporate override code from someone on the phone that would not budge. (The store manager and person on the phone were arguing pretty hard core at one point.) The manager ended up pulling some strings, which I really appreciated. </p> <p>You can do a return on your driver's license without a receipt, but it has a dollar limit each year - I think it is $80.00. I think it's 5/year? Anyway, you can bring it in without the receipt and they'll give you store credit. I did that with a belt and it was no problem. I do know they limit it (have to see your ID, etc) since people could buy sale stuff then return over and over and make money, or worse, steal things then "return" them sans receipt. They just swiped my card and saw that the item had been purchased there using the credit card?
