MIL always buys DD those two brands, and even when she buys 18 months for my 5% 13 month old, they fit terribly. Super tight skin tight shorts, and see through dresses. And they're not cheap in price! DD can fit in 9-12 months in all the other major brands, so I just never had any love for these two. It isn't *that* cheap and the quality just isn't good. I've bought a few things there and they pill and look super worn after only 1-2 washes. I don't like their adult clothes either for the same reason - not really that cheap and quality is always off. I bought a few LS &amp; SS Cat &amp; Jack tops for DD1 in the Girls' section for $6 apiece, not on sale. A long sleeved, long legged romper in the baby boy section was $12.99. </p> <p>The only downfall is that I feel like the "style" is much more like Circo - there were more prints that I found tacky, like Children's Place style, than ones that I liked, though of course that's a matter of personal opinion! If my DD were left alone to choose, she'd love some of the stuff I hated. Worth checking out if you need some basics/play clothes.</p> <p>I'll be sad to see Cherokee go. My favorite is always Genuine Kids by Oshkosh, but Cherokee has had some higher-quality looking pieces recently. </p>
