I threw a royal wedding watching party a few months back and had a tea party theme and spread with mini quiches, scones, fresh fruit salad, small cookies, sausage rolls, etc (in pic).

Can also find some other ideas here:
https://teamlouka.com/2016/03/06/simple-steps-for-throwing-a-british-themed-party/

ETA: those floral paper plates are on Amazon and just made the theme.

Cucumber sandwiches and peanut butter and banana sandwiches, cut with cookie cutters into little shapes. Mini quiches for something a bit more substantial.

I've done this before! It was adorable and the kids had a blast.

Food -
• petit fours
• mini sandwiches (anything kids will eat: pb&j roll-ups, cucumber and cream cheese on wheat, Turkey with cheddar and cranberry spread on pumpernickel)
• mini toast bites with sides of jam, honey, and peanut butter (* unless a child has a jut allergy ... then avoid the PB)
• assorted cookies (* we used a variety of pepperidge farm cookies and chocolate dipped biscotti)
• mini cupcakes

We also set up a cookie and cupcake decorating station and a "decorate" your own tea cup station.

Roll ups! Ham and cheese, peanut butter with banana in the center, cream cheese and cucumber or salmon etc. With that age I’d also bet triangle cut pbj sandwiches would go over really well. You can order little petit fours from Costco or your grocery store, those are super cute! To keep to finger foods but more filling for lunch, pigs in a blanket.

Please help me brainstorm ideas for a birthday party lunch menu, theme is tea party so finger foods would be fun! DD will be 4 years old, attendees will be 5-6 other children, similar age and ~12 adults.

Party is at 11am, we've historically had a full lunch and it's all the same attendees, so I'd like to stick to that. I'm in a rural area so no access to take out of any sort, but I do have Costco!

Looking for 90% prep ahead food. Veggie and fruit trays are the only thing on my list so far!
