Especially useful for second semester and my eraser-holics. When the kids have a bare pencil, I slip one on the back of their pencil without a word and they look at me like they won a million dollars. I've never had a problem with kids using them inappropriately. Sometimes with erasers they spend more time erasing their work than actually working. I still keep erasers in the room, but I prefer that students cross through their work. :happy: </p> <p>I also prefer the stand alone pink erasers like the white ones you posted. I cut them in half and we get more use out of them that way! That's very kind of you to provide extra supplies. By this time of year rations are low! I'd totally recommend the bigger ones, even in fifth grade! My son's kindergarten class definitely uses the eraser plugs! I did see some kids sucking on them though during class. Plus the smaller ones wear out faster.</p> <p>If you can get a lot of erasers though, that might be better than giving a few.
