If you didn't get it, you usually hear by email, within a week ish. If you're the top candidate, he does reference checks which usually take a bit of time. Sometimes if you're one of the top but not the first choice he'll wait to see if the top candidate accepts or not, before giving the next top candidates an answer. I'd wait til the end of the week, esp if they just finished interviews on Friday. And a thank you email never hurts! Good luck! I know in my district they always send at least an email within a week or so notifying someone if they did not get a position. A phone call warrants receiving a position. I interviewed with the principal, the director of curriculum and instruction, and the other social studies teacher in the building (the subject I interviewed for). They told me that they were finishing interviews last week and would have a decision by this week. Is it a bad sign that I haven't heard anything yet? Should I follow up again? I already sent thank you notes to all three people. What do you think? Any help is appreciated. I feel like I'm in the two week wait! Lol </p>
