I've heard of it and seen a few videos. Is the book worth reading? I'm moving down to 1st next year in a new school and it may be something I want to implement.

I used parts of it, mostly the gestures and attention getters. I didn't like the idea of the point system though and in some of the videos the kids look a bit robotic. But I do like bits and pieces of it!

I'm no longer a teacher, but I used it with my 2nd graders a few years ago and really liked it. I used Superspeed math and Superspeed 1000, and that worked really well. Classroom-management-wise, my kids were more excited and engaged. I wish I'd found it a bit earlier and could have used it for longer, but even just class-yes was a great tool. Vocab skills also really improved with some teach-ok stuff as well.

I worked as a behavior specialist until I had my son a couple years ago, and the entire first-grade team used some of the WBT tools, and that was really cool to see. Then it carried over to 2nd grade as well. I think it's a great system if it works with your teaching style.

I am a First Grade teacher last year I implemented WBT(whole brain teaching) in my classroom a lot.

I really saw a difference in classroom management and their understanding of concepts and goals!

Anyone else use it if so how?????

Would love new ideas for next hear!
