I did buy a bunch of 3-6 pieces because we didn't have enough in that size for fall/winter. People went NUTS buying girly clothes once LO was born, so I wouldn't worry about it. Once the baby is born I plan on giving my sister money to go to Joe Fresh and pick up some gender specific sleepers. My TG friends all tell me that you get TONS of clothes after the baby is born. </p> <p>DH and I each picked out a going home outfit (I picked a girl ad DH picked a boy). I knew we could buy extras easily, living in NYC where it's super easy to pick something up in the neighborhood without having to worry about driving with a newborn. </p> <p>Turned out she was a girl, so she just used Big Sis's old clothes. But yeah, I still put her in the neutral stuff I bought in the beginning.... We also had a few neutral pieces from various layette collections, heavy on mint, white, aqua, etc. We received SO MANY girls outfits when she was born though. Once the baby was born, did you continue clothing it in neutral clothes or did you go all out in girly or boyish clothes?</p> <p>I have about a week's worth of various neutral onesies/footed pjs etc. that I assume will get us through at least a week. I wonder, though, if the baby is either sex what people end up doing...</p> <p>(I feel totally lame asking this...I don't know why I'm so concerned!) </p>
