I'm pregnant with my first and we love being team green! I wondering all the time what its going to be but oddly enough, I haven't had the urge to actually find out. The suspense is fun!

We were TG with LO1 and found out for LO2. I loved both ways, I never felt like the announcment in the delivery room was that big of a thing bc we'd thought he was a boy all along and he had some breathing issues for a moment so it was really rushed.

I loved being TG for DD and am currently TG again for this pregnancy.

No moment in my life will ever compare to when my husband looked at me and said "It's a girl! We have a daughter" - brings happy tears to my eyes every time.

I don't know of anyone who was team green and regretted it- you do find out eventually after all! Although I don't know of anyone who found out during the pregnancy and regretted it either.

I loved everything about it!! It was the most amazing moment when my husband announced the sex after my LO was born. I never felt any disappointment and I feel like the anticipation is so much fun. I can't wait to do it again. :)

I absolutely loved it. The moment my husband told me after each was born (twins) is a moment I will never forget. It also made planning easier for me in the sense I didn't obsess over details or be extra tempted to buy ALL the cute clothing/gear I saw because I didn't know what we were having.

I was team green and LOVEDDD it. My husband told me what baby was, and it was such a magical moment. It was important to him to not find out, and he totally convinced me. We also didn't want to pick a name until we met the baby, and I think if we knew ahead of time, we would have had our favorites vs. meeting baby and seeing what s/he looked like.

With that said, we might find out the next time around. I think it's a surprise no matter when you find out, and for planning purposes, it might be nice to know. - If we did find out, we'd have the tech write it down and put it in an envelope. I'd want to open it with just the two of us.

My first pregnancy there was no way we could be Team Green. We were so impatient and knowing the sex and being able to refer to her by her name before she was born was really neat. My second pregnancy we decided to be Team Green and that was cool too. That moment when DH told me it was another girl was so special! I'm not sure if I was just too busy chasing my toddler around or if it was also because I didn't know the sex (and therefore the name) that I didn't feel as connected to #2 while pregnant. But looking back I like that I got both experiences.

We were adamantly TG last time up until the anatomy scan revealed R's hydrocephalus. Knowing that she might not make it, we wanted to find out. Finding out in the delivery room isn't quite as exciting when you're not sure you'll be delivering a live baby. That being said, I was REALLY surprised at how much more bonded I felt with her once I knew she was a girl. It made a huge difference. We chose to find out very early this time from a genetic screening, because having lost a girl I felt like I needed time to process whatever it turned out to be (another girl!). But even if things had turned out fine last time, I think I would have wanted to find out early again. I really loved being able to picture a little girl and feeling so much more bonded.

@QBbride: So far we are loving it! I am going to be 30 weeks tomorrow and haven't felt the urge to find out. Our LO is the result of IVF after almost 3 years of dealing with IF so finding out that we were pregnant was far from a surprise so we wanted to have some of that experience at some point in the pregnancy

I loved it! Best surprise ever. I was so excited regardless of whether it was a girl or boy.

Because I have a slight preference for our second child, I'm torn on whether we'll do it again. I will probably end up waiting until I have to decide before anatomy scan!

I think people who are Team Green are really into it, so I've never met anyone who was TG and didn't love it.

We were TG for both of our kids (#1 is a girl, #2 is a boy) and it was so fun the entire time. I bonded with the baby right away when I found out I was pregnant both times, and the hubs always felt weird talking to my belly both times, so he said he wouldn't have bonded any more pre-birth anyway (knowing sex vs. not knowing).

He's getting snipped on Friday, but if we were pregnant again, we would be TG again for sure!

So I was team green up until 34w, I have GD and am getting more oversight, M really wanted to know and we had another ultrasound so we opted to find out. I feel like I got the best of all worlds. I was able to do the nursury and have our shower without a bunch of pink or blue. We were just as suprised and excited as we would have been at 20 weeks. Also I have been able to pick girl clothes and choose a name.

I thought I would be more sad about missing that moment where they say it's a ....... In the delivery room, but I'm surprisingly content with our decision. You could have them write it down and just put it away. I found myself really anxious to just know around 30 weeks.

I loved it. We had a terrible time picking out a name. (I finally threw up my hands and made DH choose!) We already had a little boy, and while some may feel uncomfortable not getting girly things for the possibility of a girl, I didn't really care, because this kid was going to wear brother's stuff anyways.

For me it was fun to imagine a boy or a girl. And the moment when DH announced that we had another little boy was amazing. :)

Hi ladies!
I'm 17+ weeks and we still haven't decided whether we are staying team green yet and I'm looking for some insight! I had the opportunity to find out a few weeks ago (NIPT test) but I wasn't sure enough about finding out the sex so I passed.

Just wondering if you were team green, did you love it? What did you like about it? Or did it drive you crazy?

This is our 2nd LO. We found out the sex with our DS. I had a strong preference for a boy so I'm glad we found out.

We don't really need to buy much this time. On the flip side sometimes I forget I'm pregnant so maybe it would be a nice way to connect with the baby? And it would make picking a name easier.

Hmmm.... help!!!!
