I was team green with DS and I am team green with baby as well. I actually do not understand at all the draw of finding out before birth what the sex of the baby is, and I am secretly disappointed to five out what other propose babies are mud way through pregnancy. I feel like finding out at 20 weeks takes all the fun and joy out of it!

I loved being TG the first time around, and I'm loving it this time as well. Like @bunnylovesbear:, I wish more people chose it - mostly my friends, so I could have the excitement of finding out the day their LOs arrive! So much fun :)

@OsoInGreenAndGold: exactly.

I'm Team Green for the third time...only a matter of days until we find out what our newest little bean will be. While it frustrates some family members, I couldn't imagine enduring a pregnancy any other way. The anticipation is just something I cannot put into words...and hearing the sex from my husband in the delivery room, seeing his tears of joy, and giving him the opportunity to share the news with the family is just something that can't be replicated. I'm 110% Team Green and whole-heartedly wish more people would choose to remain TG.

We were team green and I'd do it again. I love the surprise at the end. It was also fun the whole pregnancy to hear everyone's guesses.

I really wanted a boy but prepared myself that it would probably be a girl. I was so happy to get my boy.

I am so glad we were team green. I ended up having a scheduled c-section (breech!), so I had no labor and missed out on being surprised by when and how I was going to give birth. I'm so glad we had that anticipation of finding out as we went into the OR. I wavered a bit in the beginning, but I only had to say that I didn't want to know one time (at the big ultrasound).

Absolutely will do it again for any future children. Hearing my husband say "it's a boy!" and then watching him weep tears of joy was pretty much the best thing ever. I feel like all the other people in our lives were so much more invested in the pregnancy and delivery because it was a surprise, too.

We loved it until I had an emergency C-section under anesthesia and DH and I didn't get that special moment of "OMG it's a ....!!!" He found out our baby was a boy from a nurse and I found out from DH when I woke up in recovery. It was very anti climatic. Since we will likely have the same birth experience in the future, we'll probably just find out in advance so that we can at least share in the excitement of the moment. If we had an uncomplicated birth, I would for sure be team green!

Loved it! Dh was on the fence but is totally sold now. He loved being able to go tell everyone in the waitin room that we had a girl by holding up a pink onesie.

We will definitely be TG again!

We were :teamgreen: and loved it. It annoyed our family to no end but we registered for and received gender neutral gear. I knew deep down our LO was a girl so I wasn't that surprised after delivery. DH, however, was convinced we were having a boy and was shocked! His mom says his face when he ran out to tell everyone in the waiting room was priceless. Believe me, we received a store's worth of girl's clothing after LO was born.

However...we will not be :teamgreen: for this LO. I want to be able to tell LO that she has a brother or sister on the way even though she's too young to really understand. I also want to slowly start buying boy clothes if necessary to spread out the purchases.

Loved being Team Green! It was such a fun surprise to find out after so many months that my baby boy was actually a GIRL! It took me about 3 months to get over the shock. It was easier once I started buying cute girl clothes and hair bows. We'll definitely do TG next time around!

I loved being TG and would do it again if it was just for DH and me. But I think it would make it easier on DD to connect to the new baby if we could say "your brother" or "your sister" and use the baby's name during the pregnancy. My parents were TG with my younger brother and, even though I was older than I anticipate DD will be if we have another, it was really rough on me. I wouldn't want that for her.

We were team green with our daughter (who I had convinced myself was a boy, so I was SHOCKED when it wasn't). Debating whether or not to be TG this time around, DH and I both really loved not finding out, so I don't know why I'm considering not doing it.

We did it for both babies and I agree with you on the shock! My girl is 21 months and the shock is finally wearing off. I think it had to do with if you get what you were blindly hoping for. Out of nowhere I'd be like, "I got my girl!!! I can't believe it!!"

We were team green, and like you everyone thought our little girl was going to be a boy. It did take a few months to get over that surprise, actually- in a "I can't believe I ever thought you were a girl" or "I can't believe I never realized how badly I wanted a girl" kind of way.
For our next one, I'm not sure if we will find out. Dh would have found out for this one, so I may let him choose this time. It would make things easier in terms of wash all C's clothes or buy new boy clothes? So undecided.

With my first we did team green, but not out second or third. With the second I felt much more connected to my son, because I was able to use his name. With our third I HAD to find out, my daughter needed time to come to terms with another brother! (She cried when she found out it was a boy hahaha). If we have another, we will find out again because my older kids mainly my daughter) will need to know :)

Also did you ever get over the team green shock feeling? I can't explain it but still daily I'm in shock she was a girl after everyone said boy for so long. It's crazy.

I loved being team green and will do it for the 400 other babies I have!
