I wavered a bit toward the end because we had a tough time coming up with boy names. I thought it would be less stressful if we knew for sure that we could cut half of the options. However, we stuck it out to the end. It was great motivation for pushing because we couldn't wait to find out. DH announced it was a boy, and that was one of the best moments of my life. I had thought it was a girl the whole time because I kept having girl dreams. Both times my guess was wrong. Thought boy with first had a girl; thought girl with second had a boy. That being said, I ended up having an emergency c section under general anesthesia and never ended up having that moment we dreamed about. The only thing is the clothes, but like others have mentioned, it has saved me a lot of $$$ because I can't pick up something cute every time I see it. I figure the baby will get lots of gender-specific clothes once they are born. We figure it's one of life's greatest surprises and I can't wait to know whether it's a boy or a girl. Although I'm so certain it's a boy I'll be SHOCKED if they say it's a girl.
