I personally don't like Sawyer very much (it's just become super trendy and I also don't think it sounds that pretty when spoken aloud, but that's probably just me!) - and I don't think it pairs well with Graham. But I love both Tess and Elliott and think you couldn't go wrong with either choice! I think Tess Adelaide wins by a bit for me just because I like the middle name so much, too. :)

I love all of your names! I agree for your B/G set that you don't want both to sound masculine. Here's a great blog post about it that puts it very eloquently. The diagram in her response is what I'm referring to!
http://www.swistle.com/babynames/2014/12/03/baby-naming-issue-a-sibling-for-a-boy-named-sage/

That being said: I think Sawyer is on the feminine side of Graham and I wouldn't assume Sawyer is a boy. (Especially with a feminine middle name). Tess is wonderful, and you can't go wrong with any pairings!

I love love love masculine girl names! But I agree that with b/g twins i would use a more feminine name.

Oh, it's so cool that you are having twins and are team green!

Can't wait for the babies to come out and find out what you are having!

I say use what name you love, even if it's more masculine (my daughter has a masculine name and I wouldn't have change it even if she was at twin.) And just stating this, I know way more girl Sawyers born in the last year than boy Sawyer's....I think this name will be turning more feminine in the very near future.

I like Tess (or Tessa) the best of all the girl names you posted. If you're not crazy about it, have you considered Brynn as a first name for a B/G combo? You have it as a middle name, but I think it's a beautiful name that is feminine enough for the B/G combo without anyone thinking it's 2 boys.

The middle names you have for the g/g seem more feminine. Have you thought about using one of those as a name is you have b/g?

I love your B/G names! Maeve and Adelaide (Grandmother's name) are on my list and I like how you used them as middle names. Both of your G/G names made me think of boys at first but they are so cute for a little girl and if it fits your style then I would totally use one in the B/G scenario.

I am impressed that you are Team Green with twins, I think having two would be enough of a surprise for me

Clearly Graham is your fav B/B name, I'd choose your favorite G/G combo and use that instead of Tess/Tessa. I don't see how masculine names for B/G twins will be an issue for long. Once you let people know one baby is a girl I think it people will remember Elliot or Sawyer is the girl since those names have become popular unisex names.

Remember back in the day when the most creative unisex B/G combo was Taylor/ Tyler? Oh, how far we have come! LOL

I like the idea of maybe Tessa.

I love your G/G names. My DD has a masculine name and when it came time to naming our son, we wanted to make sure he had a very boy name so it would be clear when introducing them who was who.

We are expecting twins this summer and are Team Green. I am one of those baby name weirdos who obsess over names. I thought we were decided on all of the names, but now I am starting to question our B/G choice. I'd love any opinions!

G/G twins:
Elliott Maeve
Sawyer Brynn

B/B twins:
Graham Michael
Jasper Aaron

B/G twins:
Graham Aaron
Tess Adelaide

I LOVE our G/G and B/B options but since our girl names are unisex (okay fine, somewhat masculine) I feel like they won't work in a B/G combo because everyone will assume they are both boys. So that's why we added Tess Adelaide as an option. I really do like the name but I just don't LOVE the name like I do with all the others. Should I stick with Tess or consider one of the G/G names? Am I overthinking this? Thanks everyone!
