I know not the same BUT I just ran a 10k and raised money for a cause close to me...honestly (and again, I know it is half the distance!), I just ran when I could. On the weekend I would do my longer run but if I had extra time after work, I would squeeze in a run before picking up DD (my work is next to a running trail). Also, if you don't have one, my BOB stroller was a lifesaver. I could do a quick 4-5 miles before DD got sick of the stroller (plus the faster I went the more happy she was, total motivation).

Just know that no matter how your training goes you're doing it for such a great cause! GL! For what it's worth, I exceeded my goal and any training run time on race day, I think the excitement pushes everyone...you'll do great!

I don't know what team in training is, but you can do it!!! For one of my half marathons I just trained before everyone woke up. The longer runs were rough (meeting at 5 to run at 5:15) but it felt great to get home by 8:30!
Good luck!!!!

I just signed up for my first 1/2 marathon with Team In Training. I'm a casual runner - have run a few 5Ks over the years. I am a CPA and I've been so busy with work the past few months that I haven't done a lick of exercise. Plus I have a 15 month old at home I've hardly seen! I think I signed up in a Tax Season induced haze and now I'm totally second guessing myself.
Any team-in-trainers that can help me boost my confidence??
