@cascademom: we had a mystery diaper rash the other day. I wonder if its teething related too.

@cascademom: Yeah same with us! No butt rash until then, but it's gone now so it only happened pre-teething. Weird.

@Lindsay05: Our dude had diaper rash out of nowhere when he started teething. It was really annoying because he had a perfect butt until then. I bought so much Boudreaux Butt Paste for it because it smelled good and did the trick.

@Mrsbells: Did you check for swollen bumps on the gums? Through some maneuvering, I managed to look up at his top gums and see bumps.

We are just getting our first tooth now and our LO one showed sign of teething at around 2 months and she is now 7 1/2 months! The most tell tale sign was her cheeks got really rosy and she got a diaper rash. We got some Camilia teething solution and it has seemed to work really well and we give her a shot of tylenol before bed. Unfortunately LO has been weaned since 6 months so we aren't going through any comfort nursing. I hope you get through it with flying colours!

In my experience ( two teeth on my 9 month old) you can have teething symptoms for months and you never really know if they are really teething or not. I swore she was teething for months and just when I thought she wasnt teething, thats when her teeth appeared.

All of the above. My LO is the same age and doing everything you listed. The past couple of weeks have been exhausting on a sleep level. He rolls everywhere and is full of drool. We love his rolling around. It's great to tell him to roll back onto his back when he fusses about being on his tummy.

Bedtime has been tough too. We've had our fair share of inconsolable crying lately due to teething. Since we're using the pacifier to get him to sleep, it's helping a bit with his desire to comfort nurse. He still wants to suck on everything. I'm picking up some teething tablets tonight for him.

Did your LO do a lot of comfort feeding while teething?

My DD is a little over five months and for the past month has been particularly drooley and chewing on everything. Recently she's started to roll which has affected her sleep but she has started comfort nursing a lot and is very cranky for the past two days or so. Also her cheeks are rosy and she tugs on her ears while nursing.

What are your teething experiences?
