We have one. He lacks the dexterity to untie it, but I think it seems more secure (not as cute though) than the etsy one. I think eating paint is more of a concern!

This is obviously not official advice or anything, but I think by the time you would need teething bumpers, the baby is old enough to not be as endangered by bumpers in general. Those seem like less of a strangling risk than bumpers because they'd be high up and LO would have to stand up to reach them-- therefore be awake and able to move himself around and stuff, where the bumpers they could roll into them and not be able to move away.

I still wouldn't put them in until LO was at the lower level in the crib and pulling himself up to gnaw on the edges though.

I feel like I've heard/read enough to know that bumpers are generally a no-no, but what are people's thoughts on teething bumpers? Like this one? http://www.etsy.com/listing/122645204/10-x-51-crib-teething-bumper-grey-white?ref=sr_gallery_7&ga_search_query=chevron+teething&ga_view_type=gallery&ga_ship_to=US&ga_search_type=all

I think they are adorable and I like them from a design perspective, but my hunch is that they could come undone and pose similar risks to crib bumpers...even if they are higher up and out of reach of an infant. Thoughts?
