@FutureMrsMcK: Thank you so much! That makes me feel better. I know when we were at the ped last week she told me that anything about _ wouldn't be caused by teething but I can't for the life of me remember what the _ was soooooooo of course I just jump to crazy conclusions and freak out. It's kind of my MO ;)

Yes, E gets fevers when he's teething. His pedi said if it stays over 103 for over 24 hours to call and they'll see him, and if it hits 104 to bring him in/to the ER (depending on the time of day).

They also said more important was the way he was acting--if he had any fever AND was lethargic, not nursing (or taking a bottle), refusing water, or otherwise to call them immediately.

I know that LO is cutting his top teeth. I can feel one just under the surface and he's been spending the last few days with his blankie in his mouth. He also hasn't been sleeping very well and he's usually a rockstar sleeper.

I never felt the need to take his temp when he was cutting his bottom 2 but I'm pretty sure he didn't get a fever. This time I took his temp just before bed (he's been soooooo fussy and clingy and tired) and it was just over 101. Did your LO get a fever from/with teething? How high was it? How high does it have to be for me to be sure it's not associated with the teething? Fevers scare me!
