@anonysquire: sounds like a tooth! Poor thing! Once it comes through it usually gets better though.

I could never get LO to chew on any of those frozen things.

He also wasn't really into Sophie until he was 5 months or so

I'm pretty sure I can see the tooth. There is a white line in the middle of the bump that looks right under the skin. Does this sound like the tooth???

@QBbride: DS loved this as well.

She is probably too young to know to bite down on the vibrating teethers but you can activate it for her and place in her mouth.

@anonysquire: LO didn't like Sophie until he was 6.5 months old, so just give it some time!

http://www.amazon.com/The-First-Years-Massaging-Teether/dp/B0013FCBJO
We have this vibrating teether, he likes it but I have to pinch it so it vibrates, he doesn't bite on it steady enough to keep it going on his own.

https://www.etsy.com/listing/159670366/wood-teething-ring-replacement-or-extra?ref=sr_gallery_5&ga_search_query=wood+teether&ga_ship_to=US&ga_search_type=all&ga_view_type=gallery
I have these too, and he likes them because they're easy to hold and are supposed to feel like chewing on a finger?

I hadn't thought of the frozen milk in the mesh feeder. I just bought one and was wondering what I could put in it!

@Applesandbananas: Our experience was very similar. We had the best luck in offering a variety of teethers. These worked the best, since they were easy for little hands to hold:

I thought my LO was teething at 2 months too but he didn't cut a tooth until nearly 9 months. He was fussy and drooly and I thought I saw a bump on his gums. I did the frozen bm in mesh feeders and soft plastic teething rings cooled in the fridge.

@anonysquire: I froze breast milk in little ice cube trays (silicone ones shaped like hearts) and popped the cubes (well, hearts) out and put in the mesh feeder. Seemed to help a little and the cubes were small enough that there wasn't a ton of wasted melty breastmilk.

Poor baby-2 months is so young!

I keep seeing advice for frozen fruit in mesh or teething cookies. I need some other advice. She has on her baltic amber and I've been giving her those hylands teething tablets. What else can I do? She's 2 months old. The incoming tooth looks so painful!!
