The thing is the cold is pretty much gone! Well today anyway! She was on the saline treatment since I heard the congestion. It was so shocking to hear her wake up screaming in agony!

I may try the earlier bed time routine tonight. In the past she had cried and refused to go down for the night if I put her down too early! I can't believe she sleeps so long on so little to eat.

I would say it sounds like my LO when she's getting a cold. :-( The crying is so hard to listen to, especially when you can't console her. I agree with what @kiddosc: said and get the saline, suction and humidifier out. I hope things turn around quickly.

If she won't eat again after 7-ish, then I would say that should be bedtime. It isn't unreasonable for her to sleep 11-12 hours a night and it seems like a waste to wake her up just to put her to bed.

As for the crying last night, I would think it's most likely the cold than teething. E got his first cold about a week and half ago and had an evening of just being inconsolable. I got home from work and DH said he had been crying ever since he picked him up from daycare an hour before. She's probably uncomfortable and may be having some sinus pain. Our Dr. said to use some saline spray before we suctioned his nose and put a humidifier in his room. It seems to have helped.

So, I think my 3 month old may be teething? Or wanting a bedtime routine change? Give me your thoughts.

330pm she ate 4oz at daycare. I picked her up at 445pm we ran an errand and got home. By 645-7pm she was hungry again so I fed her 3oz or so and she fell asleep after eating. She slept over an hour and woke up screaming in what sounded like pain! I tried everything and couldn't soothe her. She let out a few huge burps but just screamed and screamed until I tried bathing her (screamed more) and then eventually got her down around 9:30pm she hasn't been crying for a night feeding anymore it's usually cause she dropped her binki or an arm is out of the swaddle and is cold. I woke her this AM at 630 and she would only take another 2.5oz but was happy as a clam like last night never happened.

I usually start her bath routine at 8pm for a 8-9pm bed time but should I be starting the bedtime routine right after her last feed? She almost always falls asleep following it and typically won't eat for me again after that one night feeding.

She has been a drool factory, got her first cold/runny nose/ and has been putting absolutely everything in her mouth lately. Last night was intense! She was inconsolable.

Thoughts?
