@LivsMama: her teeth are through the gums already, definitely see and feel those sharp little teeth. Does this mean the discomfort is over or will continue until they are fully out?

Yes, that could totally be it. E cut her first tooth on the 1st and she was super restless the night before- woke up after we put her down for the first time in almost two months.

Teeth are tough to figure out that's for sure.

oh that could absolutely be the issue. When Liv is getting teeth most of them anyways,) her sleep suffers for sure. Once they break through the gums, the pain subsides. I would wait to sleep train/swaddle wean/make any drastic changes until those teeth are through the gums (can see a line at the top of each tooth) because it can hurt until then.

I'm starting to think our recent sleep issues with LO may be more due to teething than anything else now. Her two bottom teeth have just broken through her gums 3 days ago. Could this be why?

For some reason, I always thought the main discomfort from teething was prior to the teeth breaking through the gums, does it continue until the tooth is fully out?

And if it is teething, should we hold off on weaning the swaddle and sleep training?

Thank you ahead of time for answering my numerous sleep and swaddle posts!
