I just made this cajun pasta that my daughter really liked. You can control the seasoning but it wasn't spicy. You could easily leave out the chicken and probably use vegetable broth.
http://www.skinnytaste.com/2012/02/cajun-chicken-pasta-on-lighter-side.html

I also make up little jars of spaghetti and letter pasta as a homemade spaghetti-ohs ()

My LO is 15 months and we pack the same foods every day, luckily she hasn't gotten sick of them yet. I put everything in an "Easy Lunchbox" that has compartments.

- pita or sandwich thin with hummus on it
- deli turkey
- applesauce
- slice of cheese
- and then one cupcake liner full of either fruit (usually just the premade fruit salad from the grocery store), or a veggie, like canned carrots or peas

I am coming back to the food discussion I've been obsessing over the past few weeks.

Thanks to your great suggestions (http://boards.hellobee.com/topic/tell-me-about-your-los-menu) I have a few new meals/ideas in rotation. I am still struggling with keeping LO's lunch exciting and healthy.

Our caregiver is vegetarian so I try to bring mostly veggie meals (or purees with chicken well mixed in). Also, I like to prep a few days worth of lunch on Sundays so our weeknight prep is minimal.

Any daycare lunch ideas for a 13 month old you'd care to share?
