Both kids can play with it for over an hour! I think it's so cool! I put it in a tray (something that a melissa and doug toy or puzzle came in) and he pushes trucks through it or dumps it in cups. I think it's the same as kinetic sand... I think it's just called magic sand though. It comes with a little plastic box thing that you play with it in, and a few toys (rollers, cookie cutter type things) and a background. I've played with some in the stores. Seems like toys are simple sand toys, rake, shovel, castle molds, etc. It's usually played with in a container. There are special square containers with sides that usually come with it to keep it contained. It's pretty cool stuff!
