I took a tour a few months ago, and I didn't think it was the right fit for my LO. There are a lot of advantages of being in an immersion program. At that age, I'm sure your LO would adjust quickly. I went in for a visit since there is a 2 year wait list. I think kids can easily be multi lingual. An elementary school in our district does a Spanish immerision program that we're planning to enroll LO in (assuming she gets accepted), but it's a 5-year commitment so that they can get the full benefit of it. I'm not sure if just one year of pre-K would be confusing for her. It was 100% French all day and none of us had any previous experience. We all picked it up immediately. One of the options is a Spanish immersion Montessori school. It states they speak fluent Spanish in the morning and then fluent English in the afternoon.</p> <p>The school seems very nice and a good location for us, but... My daughters only Spanish interaction has come from Dora the explorer. Would this place even be an option for her, would she be overwhelmed? </p> <p>Thoughts? </p>
