This sounds like what my LO went through. The only other difference was she drooled VERY heavily. But yes, lots of tantrums over everything.

Ugh, molars. LO has all 4 of her first molars coming in right now. It's brutal, she's a total crankpot and waking up 3-5 times a night crying.

Yeah, most teeth weren't noticeable once we started using the amber teething necklace. Except for molars, ugh! It passed, but I did give Ibuprofen a couple times when I was at my wits end. One canine was rough too, but it came in at the same time he had a baby virus, so it was a crappy few days regardless.

I don't think B's molars are coming in, but he is working on teeth. The only reason I can tell is his onesies are dripping with slobber.

DS has never had teething problems, including the molars. They just suddenly seem to appear. FWIW, DS has been incredibly slow to get his teeth. The first ones came in at 11 months and at 2.5 he still does not have all of his teeth.

@sloaneandpuffy: All other teeth have been a non-event for us, so I guess it's time for us to pay ;)

I'm calling molars. I finally gave her some Tylenol this morning after she was completely inconsolable, and she's much more content and pleasant. Luckily, her sleep hasn't been affected. Hopefully we can skip that.

The bottom two molars were a non-issue but the top 2 caused major screaming fits and inconsolable crying. We used Camilia which helped a ton. The canines seemed to be worse than the top molars. My LO gets neon cheeks, drools lots and gets a bit of a diaper rash when he is teething. It doesn't really affect his sleep too much. He will maybe wake up 1/2 hour earlier than normal for a week or two.

ETA: he got all 4 molars and 4 canines within a span of 3-4 months.

This has been Chloe for the last two and a half weeks. I feel like we are back in the newborn stage as far as sleep is concerned. She's boycotting naps and taking two hours to go to bed at night, waking up in the middle of the night and waking earlier than usual each morning. She is chomping on her fingers, though, which is making me suspect its her two year molars.

I don't recall having this problem with her one year molars, and all 4 of hers came in at the same time. They bothered her, but not like this.

I hope that its a teething issue for both of us!!

Her first set came through and we didn't even know. Now she's been working on her second set for a while and at the beginning it was brutal.

Mine woke up every other night for 1-2 times a night when he was around 14-16 months old? It varies from crying/making noises for 5 minutes, to rare cases of staying up and chatting to himself for 2 hours (if I leave the room he cries). He also drooled A RIVER. I don't have enough bibs for his drool!

To be fair though, the waking up was probably partly due to his recurring ear infections. After we have the tubes done, he hardly wakes up at night anymore. But his canines and first set of molars also came in, and he stopped drooling periodically (he is starting again, I think the final 4 molars are coming in). It is a mystery what causes what.

I'm praying that LO's recent craziness is due to teething. Lord help is all if it's not.

She has woken up basically crying the past two days. She cries about everything. She wants to be picked up, cries. Wants to get back down, cries. I give her the milk she ask for and she cries. I go outside when she ask and she cries. She is never, ever like this do I know something is up. We have no fever and she's not sticking her hands in her mouth (never had with teething). Did your LO just get crazy when their molars were coming in?
