#1: a lot of nausea for 1 month that went away overnight, no fatigue, a little boob tenderness, heartburn later in pregnancy

#2: moderate nausea that lingered for 2 months and went away gradually, food aversions, SO fatigued, hip pain, really tender boobs, heartburn really early on

both are girls. my cravings are very similar though - sour/salty.

Congratulations!!! My two pregnancies were nearly identical - the only difference was that I didn't have any cramping with DD2, whereas with DD1, I had horrific cramping until 8 weeks. Also, my boobs never got sore with DD2, even though I was still BF'ing DD1 until I was 12 weeks along, whereas with DD1, they were incredibly sore for several weeks. Other than that, everything was exactly the same, from weight gain, to the way I carried, to the way I felt. No MS with either one but lots of reflux and heartburn! Both LOs were girls.

The pregnancies have been very similar, but this one has been a bit harder. That could all be circumstantial though as we're buying a house, renovating, moving. My skin was perfect last time and this time I've had breakouts.
Pretty much the same though. Both girls.

LO 1: very sick (couldn't get out of bed), nausea/puking all day long, slept good, good skin, craved sweets, constipation was awful, always tired

LO 2 (only 8 weeks in): Waves of Nausea/puking but not all day, constipation is awful again, but overall feeling decent. Not as tired this round, but very moody! cravings are a sweet/salty mix.

LO 1 was a girl, not sure about LO 2 yet :)

My symptoms have been completely the same, and I have a girl and am now having a boy.

The only difference has been that this baby (boy) is crazy super active, they can never catch the heartbeat on the Doppler and every ultrasound is like watching a circus! Not sure if that's a "boy" thing or if this kid is just going to be nuts :-)

my symptoms were pretty much the same. I have a girl and a boy.

my body hurt a lot more with my 2nd, but I think a lot had to do with the fact that I was still nursing my first.

My pregnancies were soooo different. Pretty much nothing was the same! Pregnancy 2 was easier. The only similarities were that both were girls and both were diagnosed with IUGR.

With #1 I had sore nipples at first (it was my telltale sign) and then just a hint of nausea here and there. Boy.

I'm only about 6 weeks with #2 but so far no sore nipples, extremely exhausted, peeing a lot more, and breaking out. We'll just have to wait and see.

LO1 - all day nausea from week 6 to week 24. Her heart rate was always high in the 160s and 170s. Felt flutters around week 16. She was a roller and moved so gentle - no painful jabs or kicks. Eating made me feel better. I loved full panel maternity pants

LO2 - all day nausea and vomiting from week 5 to week 16. Heart rate is in the 140s. No movement until around week 20-22 and it's not fluttering - it's already jabs and kicks and full body rolls. I hate having anything tight against my belly and could not stand full panel pants until about week 20. My stomach is always hot. Eating did not make me feel better.

Ditto what @locavore_mama said about being tired!

So far with #2 (I'm only 12 weeks) the only major difference is how fast I feel like I'm showing! I look super pregnant already!

Similar to @Weagle:

With LO#1, I was nauseous from 6 weeks until the end of the first tri. Terribly nauseous all day long. Only threw up once, but it felt like the queasiness would never end. I wasn't very tired though. BOY.

With LO#2, so far (I'm 18 weeks), I had mild nausea for maybe 2 weeks? Threw up once at like 5 weeks pregnant, that was it. I am SO tired, and I have sciatica and terrible breakouts on my chin, but this has been an easier pregnancy just from the lack of ickiness. We are :teamgreen: so I'm not sure what this means yet :)

#1 - horrible MS - vomited at least once a day from weeks 6-13, exhausted in the first trimester, slept well till third trimester - girl

#2 - horrible nausea, vomited less than pregnancy #1 but still 1-2 times per week, trouble sleeping from beginning - I'm 14.5 weeks along with a boy.

Lots of differences between the two pregnancies. Symptoms are different. Cravings are different. With my first tender boobs was my first sign that I was pregnant. No tender boobs this time around. I also had a aversion to meat and coffee. none this time. Could not handle spicy food with my first and can't get enough of it this time. CRAVED bad food all the time. And this time I want healthier stuff and craving sweets which I never did with #1.

Both are girls

haha definitely more tired this time but I think that comes from being a mom and you can't come home from work and just crash on the couch. :P

#1. So, so sick. So sick with lots of puke. Never felt tired until the very end. No trouble sleeping.
#2. A little nausea, puked maybe 3x. So exhausted almost every day, but not sleeping well.

Both girls.

I just found out today that I'm about two weeks pregnant but it's already so different than with LO #1. I'm wondering if maybe LO#2 hasn't implanted yet? Light light cramps, no bloating, barely any gas (i thought I was going to die of all 3 of those things the first time). But I am so tired, which I didn't feel the first time, short of breath & I have to pee like 3 times a night! It's crazy how different they can be from the start. What was different between pregnancies for you? & a question from DH, did it mean you were pregnant with the opposite gender?
