My cook books are on ther in our entry way</p> <p>We also have crate and barrel Sloane leaning bookshelves in the living room which look really nice but tend to hold more decorative stuff than tons of books. </p> <p>@LemonLong: that wall of shelves looks amazing! The tall bookcase offers closed cabinet storage. I also have the C+B's Paterson bookcase which encloses the books behind glass doors. </p> <p>I keep my cookbooks in a kitchen cabinet. I adjusted the shelves so the tallest one would fit, and then the top shelf is tall enough for a single layer of dog food cans. We keep our medicine on the bottom shelf.</p> <p>ETA: In our living room, we have Ikea Hemnes bookshelves and the TV stand. Our office has a hodgepodge of old shoe cabinets from ClosetMaid and a horrible bookshelf we got when we were first married.
