We're cuttings canines and the first molars all at once, we've had a couple of rough nights but have otherwise been ok!

Maddy's weren't bad at all, maybe a little in the beginning but nothing compared to past teeth. One day I looked and all 4 were popped up at 2 years old.

Weird. He's cut one of his canines (looks like a jack o lantern) and didn't notice it being any worse than top of bottoms. Anyways, nothing but ibuprofen makes a difference for us.

They will come in... eventually! We use the amber teething necklace, and canines were one of two times I had to give Ibuprofen for teething. But yeah, they were miserable as everyone says above.

We're currently working on 2 year molars and the canines were the absolute WORST. Oh man.... So awful. So glad we don't have to do that again.

They were BAD. Luckily it didn't affect his sleep but he was constantly drooling and red checked. He also mouthed toys a lot more. Have you tried giving LO popsicles? I was thinking about making some for LO to help with the pain.

We were really lucky w/ DD. She got all of her teeth (except the 2-yr molars) in by the time she was 12 months, and she was so easy throughout it - even when she got 5 at once (including the canines). .... we're paying for it in other ways now - haha

Good luck - hope they come in quickly and you can get back on your schedule.

@emg86: LOL quite honestly I would lock my dog in a kennel if that were the case. Can't do that with my child, although sometimes....haha jk

Canines were H.E. L. L. Hell.
All four came through at once. She had everything but four 2nd year molars when her canines came through and nothing gave her trouble like the canines did.

We have one bottom tooth through and a top one on the way. LO won't eat, disrupted sleep, tantrum-y, snotty and just exhausting. I tried giving her some Camilia and it didn't seem to help too much. Although she may have spit it most out. LO is 16.5 months. I am most likely going to give her tylenol later this morning once that camilia wears off.

What worked for you? Any tips or tricks?
