But she sucks down bottles like crazy even though we have slow flow nipples. I don't think she is confused at all... I think every baby is different, but I had no reason to worry about E. The kid is a boob monster. It did take a few weeks to find a bottle he would take, but that was because he didn't have a strong suck reflex. (Which is probably why my supply never got off the ground. With my second, I used Fenugreek at first, then I got my OB to give it to me at 8 weeks because I felt I didn't have enough milk. My family doc wouldn't give it to me tho a couple of weeks prior.<br /> - What dosage did you take? 3 pills 3 times a day<br /> - When did you start seeing results? What did the results look like? Right away and my breasts felt full again (also grew larger, I had porn star boobs...)<br /> - Were you able to establish an adequate supply? Yes<br /> - How long did you have to take it? I took it with my first to help me pump more (he wouldn't latch) for 7 months. I take dom currently. It never boosted my supply to have enough to EBF or EP. But, I have enough supply to nurse exclusively at night (we co-sleep after his first wake-up) and occasionally during the day if I'm not at work. I never could pump to increase supply (pumping after feeds, before feeds, power pumping, exclusively pumping...nothing made a huge difference). But I'm firmly convinced I'd be drier than the Sahara if it wasn't for the dom, so I continue to take it, because I value even just the snippet of nursing relationship we have. They only gave me 6 months, i believe. That being said, having to both nurse AND deal with bottles was a giant pain. Sometimes I wish that I had just said enough is enough and exclusively went the formula route, but I really enjoyed nursing.<br /> Oh, and with my first baby, the BF doc I saw also had me pump 15 min/side with each feed for about 4 months. Those were a hard 4 months.
