@Grace: it's been about 4 weeks now. She just doesn't want to go at daycare. I'm hoping she just gets used to it too. She doesn't go to daycare every day so that could be part of the problem...

@catomd00: actually we tried putting her back in a diaper but I think she was confused and held it in even then. The times she pees most is with her dad or me regardless of where we are.

Mine was holding it too, but luckily only at home. At daycare, she peed all over the place. I think there, they kept her busy and she forgot and then peed. By day 5, she figured it out. How long have she been potty training?

Haven't experienced this yet since my DD is only just 2, but I'd probably try and just back off potty training for a few weeks and re-visit it again later if that's an option...

If your toddler had UTIs tell me about what happened and when they stopped? What did you do?

We are potty training and I think my 3 year old is getting her 3rd UTI!! :(:: The first time she held it for 6 hours... I tell her not to hold it in, make her drink lots of water, get her to sit on the toilet frequently, explained why, etc... But she still holds her pee. She seems to hold it in more at daycare. Even when the teachers take her quietly by herself, she refuses to release. She has no problem with sitting. I'm so scared she will damage her organs at such a young age. Tell me about your experience and what you felt helped stop them?
