Only had that one before getting pregnant with my DD. My first one after her was 15 months pp and it was like a normal period if not lighter. I just had my second one pp and it was like a murder scene. Just awful. Soaking through super tampons in like 2 hours. Soaked a mattress, stained a couch, had to call a plumber because the one ultra tampon I accidentally flushed clogged the pipe. I wanted to melt into the floor, it was so awful. This was with tampons and heavy overnight pads. It was "only" that heavy for two days, but I thought I was hemorrhaging. The second time it wasn't quite as bad. Seriously. I had to leave work early it was so bad. I changed my pad before I left and in the 30 minutes it took for me to get to Target my pad was full (it was a regular. HA). I got overnights, but I had to go back the next day and get the super overnight maxi pads because the overnight ultra thins could not contain the flow. The worst of it only lasted maybe 2 days but I couldn't believe how heavy it was. I was so lightheaded. I soaked through a tampon and liner a handful of times. I wore a super plus tampon and pantiliner to bed. And i woke up with blood soaked through to the mattress. I thought I forgot to put a tampon in, but nope, just beyond heavy flow. I thought I was hemorrhaging and called my doctor. I ended up having to get the super plus plus maxi pads AND wear a super tampon to not overflow. I felt so awful, it was painful, and once I ate a huge hamburger, I felt marginally better.</p> <p>After that, it was much, much better. I had it checked out by my Dr after LO 1 for peace of mind. </p>
