I had some pretty red blood the first time and I freaked out and went to the doc and he said a lot of women spot during pregnancies. I ended up going to my OB's office and getting an ultrasound to make sure everything was okay.</p> <p>How far along are you? You may want to call your OB to go in for a check-up. Even if there's nothing wrong, it doesn't hurt to get checked out and have everything confirmed. I had already had a missed miscarriage before with no bleeding or spotting, so with this I went to the er right away. I was worried about it so my GP referred me to my local hospital's EPAU (Early Pregnancy Assessment Unit) where they gave me a scan.
