He did the whole ceremony and then my mom served dinner. Did you have a more specific question about what was in the ceremony? I'd love to help you out..... but I'm not really sure what you're asking.</p> <p>My brother and SIL just had their daughter named and they're in an interfaith marriage. I'd like to have a naming ceremony for LO. DH is not Jewish, but he is fine with whatever I decide. We had a Christening done in his hometown church last weekend. </p> <p>The officiant (not Jewish) who performed our wedding ceremony does Newborn Celebrations. I'm thinking of having him come to our home for a small party to do the ceremony, since he is someone that means a lot to our family. He and I can work together to craft a ceremony that includes Jewish aspects. </p> <p>Thoughts? What did you do? </p>
