I also received a hand-me-down playmat and the Skip Hop one looks roomier and a lot more entertaining. She loves the dangling animals plus they come off so you can use them by themselves which is great for travel. It has lights and sound. It also has little clips to hook toys onto the actual mat and on the part above it so I can attach all kinds of toys onto it. It comes with several other toys that are developmental by age. She spends a lot of time on her back so I want to get her an awesome new playgym or mat, so she has lots of stimulation above her and kicks her legs loads, which really helps her hips : )</p> <p>Can you give me any recos on good ones? I'd like something soft and tons of fun, with nice friendly faces on the characters (DH has a thing about toy faces, they have to be friendly and nice!)</p> <p>Thanks so much - I just LOVE buying her new toys! </p>
