I asked everyone to tell what they're thankful for. It was pretty emotional -- my mom had cancer that year and had just gotten an all-clear, my BIL finished his PhD, my husband finally had a good job. I went last, and DH took camera (and filmed me but then started filming their reactions as I said "2011 has been a rough year. I'm thankful for all of the support you all have given me as we've faced challenges during these times. But most of all, I'm thankful for June 2012. Because there will be a new baby in this family."</p> <p>People. Freaked. Out.</p> <p>Iit was great getting their reactions on video. Of course, I haven't edited or anything except saved the footage in a few places. He didn't want to steal SIL's thunder (and I had no qualms about waiting, as long as I got to tell my family sooner!)</p> <p>Well, SIL hasn't delivered, but we are going to visit at Thanksgiving to share the news. We are on the opposite side of the country and wanted to share in person, even of it means stealing SIL's thunder :( I'll be 15w at Thanksgiving, so we've waited awhile!! </p> <p>I know SIL will be thrilled for us, as will his whole family :) I'm excited to be "out" to everyone, it's been hard keeping this off Facebook when everyone else knows (my family, our friends, coworkers, etc.) </p>
