@mrs. bird: @alayaya: add me to that queue of water drinking!

I agree with previous posters on it might work out just fine since they're males and won't be out as long as you are. Plus, their wives are due a few weeks before you.

@mrs. bird: I was thinking the same thing!

I understand your concern, but in the end it is not your problem really. Don't feel bad!

Also, repeatedly remind yourself that you do not need to apologize for pregnancy, and when it comes down to it, it is your responsibility to deal with your own coverage (or however your company deals with it). It is NOT your problem/responsibility to cover the other two employees' leave! I also have someone else at my very small office who announced some leave a few weeks before I was ready to announce my pregnancy. It took a lot of reminders from my husband: I will not apologize for my pregnancy. If I celebrate it, they will celebrate it, too!

So far, so good!

Yikes! I agree w/the other posters though, that if they are male coworkers, they likely won't be taking an extended leave so hopefully it won't be too bad?

How long will the two male coworkers be out (did I read that right, that it's two men whose wives -- who don't work there -- are pregnant)? Surely not as long as you... so maybe it's not as bad as you think!

Well luckily the other employees are male so they will take short leave and hopefully will be back before your baby comes. Don't worry too much.... you guys will find a way to make it work!

Oh geeze, yikes! Try not to worry about it too much - it's possible the husbands won't be taking as much time off as you and maybe one (or both) will be back to work by the time you actually have to take your leave.

Just don't apologize for being pregnant! It's not your fault everyone got pregnant at the same time! And your pregnancy deserves just as much excitement as theirs, regardless of how it affects your boss or company.

Maybe wait a couple weeks and then break the news to your boss, so you're not telling him/her at almost the same time as your coworkers.

So ... not only did someone at work announce their wife was pregnant a few months ago ... someone else just announced their wife is pregnant AS WELL and is due that same month around the same time as the first employee to announce the pregnancy!
So now its only our Boss and myself.
How in the world will I tell my boss and everyone I am pregnant too & due just a few weeks after the other two pregnancies!
Geez. I imagine my boss will have a heart attack for how the office will be ran during all the babies being born next year :-(.
