<description>&#60;p&#62;I did oral temps for the first few months, and was frustrated at my chart with ups and downs all over it. I could tell when O was happening, but barely. There was a lot of variation.  After I switched to vaginal temping, which I HATED, my chart leveled out and I could see a very clear leap at O. One thing to remember if you switch though, often vaginal temps will run higher than oral temps, so best to switch at the beginning of a cycle so you don't get a false jump in the temps.
