I think they should just plan to purchase something when they arrive to their new city - the Fischer Price Rock n' Play is really inexpensive - http://www.google.com/products/catalog?client=safari&rls=en&q=fisher+price+rock+and+play+sleeper&oe=UTF-8&um=1&ie=UTF-8&tbm=shop&cid=9471495977838369124&sa=X&ei=hLD7TozZKojL0QGBt4XSAg&ved=0CFEQ8wIwAQ#ps-sellers

Yeah, I'm not sure why a pack and play wouldn't work.

My brother, sister-in-law and their 3 month old son are moving to from the east coast to the west coast in February. The baby currently sleeps in a co-sleeper, which works out well for them. They are hiring movers to move their belongings and are flying out to their new town. Their belongings may take a couple of weeks to arrive. Any suggestions on what type of crib/sleeper they could get that they would be able to check as luggage and use as a bed for the 3-month old for a few weeks?

I checked out Mrs. Bee's guide to travel cribs but I'm not sure any of those would work well for an extended period of time. Thoughts?
